My love of creating has taken me in many different directions over the years. My favourite pieces have been produced using pen and ink or graphite. I enjoy the fluidity of watercolour and have created many different works with it, both on its own or combined with ink or graphite. My favourite subjects are animals and nature. In 2011, I was awarded a ribbon for my graphite/watercolour work “Mr. Lonely” at the Club's 2011 Spring Show and was proud to show my art at William's on Wonderland in December of 2011. I love to share my art with others and am proud to be a member of the Brush and Palette Club of London.

Over the years, my sewing business has kept me busy with custom projects for the home or even simple alterations. During the past 7 years, I have hosted summer sewing camps in my home. I started taking art classes in the fall of 2006 and attended many workshops and art groups and have presented my art at a senior centre and The Met as well as the annual Brush and Palette Club shows. The other hobbies I enjoy are cross-stitch, crochet, photography and reading.
When I am not busy with my family (my first and foremost passion), my job as a professional skating coach, or my hobbies, I try to volunteer at my boys’ school and swim club. You may see me out for a run in the park or at the gym, “pumping iron,” but that is just so I can have the energy to keep up with my boys and my adorable husband of 25 years.
