A warm welcome to all members of the Brush and Palette Club"

As your president I'd like to express my appreciation to the membership for their support and participation in the club's activities.

I'd like to thank the past executive for their active roll in the life of the club; you were very supportive and reliable in carrying out your duties. I am very happy that a number of you are staying on for another year.

It is an honour for me to welcome the new members of the executive, and I look forward to an active and rewarding year with them.

It has always been a wonderful experience to be among other artists, to learn and work together and to show together. The club will  provide lots of opportunities for the members to grow and to learn from different instructors in a variety of workshops as well from informative meetings with interesting speakers.

This year will mark our 37th annual show, and I encourage everyone to participate in this by submitting paintings and to help out with the many tasks that a big event like this brings.

I am looking forward to see you all at the potluck lunch at noon on September 2, 2009.
