Lloyd MacDonald
Biography
As a child I would often borrow my mother’s brushes and oil paints and spend an afternoon exploring shapes and colours. For many years my main creative focus was in music, but recently my love of the visual arts, especially pottery and watercolour, has been rekindled. Since 2001 I have studied with London artists Hilda Markson-Gray, Fred Harrison, Craig Marucci and Peter Lam. In addition, I have attended workshops provided by two local art groups, the Brush and Palette Club and the Gallery Painting Group.
My paintings are on display at www.photobucket.com Username: FIREBRUSH Password: ART These works (both abstract and representational), are anchored in colour, light and humour. They attempt to express my love of the world around me and within me, and provide a vehicle in which to respond emotionally to the world. If you would like to share your thoughts on art, feel free to write me at lloyd.macdonald@gmail.com.
