Helen Allen
Helen Allen attended oil painting classes from 1975 to the early 80’s
at the University of New Brunswick, the St. Andrews-by-the-Sea art
school, the Winnipeg Art Gallery and the Symposium School of Art
in Winnipeg.
After pursuing other interests, she resumed painting in 2000
in watercolour under the direction of Craig Marucci in Masonville
Library and Museum London.
She also attended workshops in the Baldwin Resort in Windermere,
The Fleming School of Art in Haliburton and workshops as a member
of the Brush and Palette Club, the Lambeth Art Association and the
Gallery Painting Group. Since January 2005, she has been a member
of the Central Ontario Art Association.
She has had five one woman shows at the Home Restaurant, two at
Chapters on Fanshawe Road and one in the Board Room of the
Central Library.
